IMPRESSIONS
The collection titled “IMPRESSIONS” takes inspiration from “broken” impressionist brush strokes with emphasis on the depiction of light in its changing qualities and movement. The imperfect and non-precise brush strokes and intrinsic play of unusual colours and silhouettes create a vibrant mirage. The palate ranges from the hues of dawn sky to earth tones.
There is the intensive use of various techniques like hand zardozi embroidery, patchwork, intricate silk thread work, and draped embroidery to name a few.
