The collection “Trin/तृण “ translates to “grass” in Sanskrit, condenses around the interplay of whimsy, serenity and beauty of the extensive Indian grasslands, subtly capturing the ever changing hues of the copious crop fields horizoning from dawn till dusk, from mundane to mystic, season after season, bearing resemblance to the cycle of life.

This collection breathes opulence and earthiness as we induce minute details into the surface ornamentation of the silhouettes. Arraying from imagining the rawness of ridges & furrows of the fields in an enticing approach of metal couching to emulating grass & hay through miscellaneous heat textured fabrics & inculcation of Raffia, a natural fiber derived from the leaves of the raffia palm tree, as a sustainable approach towards this collection has been made.

Profuse inclusion of varied techniques of Draping, Kantha embroidery, 3D hand embroidery and intense beadwork have been employed to surreally bring out our vision of the fields. Crafted with utmost care and attention to detail, each garment in the collection embodies the serene beauty of grasslands, its cycle of life and its surroundings. Matka silk, linen, silk, net, cotton voile, velvet and chiffon are the major fabrics used in the collection.

The color palette dazzles the progression of dawn till dusk ranging from subtle beiges to flaming tangerine to midnight blues with the transition of silhouettes, from power shouldered structured jackets to gowns with bold creative cuts to asymmetrical furry winter drapes, embodying the openness and freedom that TRIN offers in abundance.
